I've been interested in this for a while. I'm a third year college student (2nd year art school student) majoring in sculpture and art history (hopefully). Your camera is amazing and your blog is very inspiring! I hope to construct a similar camera, although I will probably have to wait at least a semester and possibly a year. However, the wait gives me plenty of time to research designs. I may try to start with a 4x5 camera, I don't think I am as ambitious as you. Currently, I am trying to get back into small metal work. I think I could write down a hundred questions to ask you about this project. On an unrelated note, I think the one sentence I hear most at art school is "I suck so much at math!" You are a physics major, correct? How much wood shop experience did you have prior to this project? And your metal work is great!
